Ross Ruhle - Branch Manager Toowoomba and Cecil Plains Stores

Ross is our Toowoomba and Cecil Plains stores Branch Manager.  Ross has been with the company for 14 years and has 27 years experience in Rural Merchandising and Procurement.  Ross has a farming background growing up on the family farm in the Clifton area.  When not hard at work, Ross enjoys helping out his local rugby team, the Wattles, gardening and working around the house.

Max Thomas - Senior Agronomist

Max is one of our Senior Agronomists assisting our clients from Toowoomba to Dalby  He has over 25 years of agronomy experience in broadacre predominately on the Darling Downs.  Raised in Darwin.  Max has been involved in the rural industry all his life.  When not busy, Max enjoys speedway and working with horses.

Paul Cleary - Agronomist

Paul is a qualified Agronomist.  He completed his Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Queensland Gatton.  He has about 5 years experience in broadacre and extensive rural knowledge being raised on a property on the Downs.  When he is not working, which is not often, Paul enjoys working on his farm.

Phil Paterson – Sales

Phil is one of our on-road Sales Representatives.  He has been with us for over 10 years and services the needs of our clients within a two hour radius of Toowoomba.  Phil has extensive knowledge in Pasture, Cereal and Cotton production as well as Animal Health & Produce. He has over 25 years experience in the seed industry both in Australia and New Zealand.  When not hard at work, Phil enjoys following the rugby, especially the Broncos, and punting on the horses.

Jim Egan – In-store Sales

Jim has been with us for around eight years.  He is here to assist with onsite inquiries in our Toowoomba store and also incoming telephone inquires.  Jim has 35 years of experience as a grazier/broadacre farmer in the Moonie Area.   In his spare time, Jim enjoys clay target shooting.

Murray Weller – In-store Sales

Murray has been with NFW for three years and looks after our clients with in-store and over the phone enquiries.  Murray was raised on land and has previous history working in rural merchandise and managing properties. Murray has extensive experience in the stud stock preparation and animal husbandry.  In spare time, he enjoys landscaping, coaching his son’s rugby team and helping with his family’s cattle fitting service.    

Justin Collard – Big N Field Service Specialist

Justin is our qualified Big N Specialist with a Stage II Field Service Specialist Accreditation Licence.  He handles the maintenance and set up of Big N equipment for all of the NFW Branches.  Justin has spent all of his life on the land and has 20 years experience as a dairy farmer.  He has 3 great kids and enjoys fishing and golfing.

Tony Parravicini – Storeman, Deliveries

Tony has been with us for almost four years.  He takes care of our clients needs in our Toowoomba store as well as delivering stock to their properties.  Tony has a background in horses and when not working still enjoys horse racing.\

Steve Kelly - Deliveries

Steve has just joined our team in Toowoomba, coming from Millmerran Steve has a good general knowledge in most rural operations.  

Kevin Walters – Receipt and Despatch Officer

Kevin is our Storeman for Ospray (a subsidiary company of NFW).  He handles all incoming and outgoing orders and deliveries.  He comes from the land and has 16 years experience in engineering works.  Kevin has 7 kids and is expecting his first grandchild later this year.
