NFW CECIL PLAINS
Stacey Smith – Senior Cotton Agronomist and TSP Coordinator
Stacey has about eight years of cotton experience and is our TSP coordinator and Senior Cotton Agronomist. Whilst she mainly focuses on cotton, Stacey also deals with other broadacre crops. She completed her Diploma of Applied Science at the University of Queensland Gatton. Growing up on a cotton farm on the Downs Stacey has extensive knowledge in her field of expertise. When at home, Stacey enjoys spending time with family and friends - when her little girls are not keeping her busy!
Kim Warren - Sales
Kim assists with the sales and service to our customers in the Cecil Plains area. Prior to joining the NFW family, Kim previously worked with another rural supply company. He has over 20 years experience in the rural industry including cotton, broadacre and animal production, with a strong interest in both broadacre and grazing. He lives with his wife on a small acreage and they are passionate about horses particularly the Morgan breed. He is always looking for opportunities to implement new technologies and ideas and is always ready for a chat and a cuppa.
Lance Holcombe – Agronomist, Sales
Lance is our Trainee Agronomist based in Cecil Plains. He also assists our Miles, Meandarra and Toowoomba branches when required. He is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Queensland, and has a Diploma of Agricultural Production from the Dalby Agricultural College. Lance grew up on a cattle farm and has 5 years experience in the crop research and agronomy fields. He enjoys investing in the share market, travelling and horse racing.
Robert Whitby – Storeman, Deliveries
Robert looks after our clients needs in our Cecil Plains store as well as delivering stock to their properties. He has grown up on and worked on cotton and broadacre farms for around 20 years. His spare time is spent with his wife and four kids, one of which is deaf. They love camping and fishing and racing cars.
