In-crop Spraying
Not only does NFW provide quality products and advice from all of its branches, NFW also provides crop and pasture spraying services from our Coonabarabran and Stanthorpe branches.
Coonabarabran has two spray rigs (an Isuzu 4x4 Truck fitted with a 2000 litre tank and 20m boom and a Mitsubishi Canter 4x4 with a 1200 litre tank and 20m boom). Both are equipped with Farm Scan systems and are fully self-contained. All you need to supply is clean water to the paddock.
The first step to our crop spraying service is to arrange Bryan Mathews, our NFW Coonabarabran Agronomist, to undergo a paddock inspection and provide a product and rate recommendation for spraying.
Our Boom Spray Operator (BSO) is provided with instructions from Bryan, including a spray sheet, paddock maps and the required chemicals for your specific crop. Once spraying is complete, the BSO will complete an Application Sheet, which details the hectares sprayed, time, wind, temperature, humidity and any other relevant details. This is provided to yourself for your records and future reference.
Stanthorpe has a Land cruiser mounted spray boom of 16m with a 1000 litre onboard tank. This spray rig is also equipped with a Farm scan system and is fully self-contained. All you need to supply is clean water.
This unit is ideal for small acreage crop and pasture spraying as well as the application of liquid fertilizers.
To book an appointment or speak in more detail about our spraying services, please call or email our experienced staff at either Coonabarabran or Stanthorpe. They can assist you with all your requirements.
