Cotton (including Monsanto and TUAs)
Cotton growing is a specialized field within farming particularly due to the Monsanto agreement and APVMA legislation. Given this, our Agronomist’s spend considerably more time (on and off the farm) in the management of these crops. They are involved in continuing research particularly in regards to new irrigation technologies and developing ways to combat new insect and disease resistance.
National Farmers Warehouse is also a registered Technology Service Provider (TSP) for Monsanto and as such can take care of your tua’s, audits, mapping and on-farm inspections. We can also assist you with variety selections and trait recommendations; planting rates and seed count at germination; discuss moisture needs and irrigation schedules and your soils water holding capacities and fertilizer needs; and provide recommendations on defoliation and harvest scheduling.
