About Us
The Past
National Farmers Warehouse (NFW) commenced operations in March 2008 with the purchase of Elite Agri-Services in Miles.
NFW expanded in May 2008 with the purchase of Coonabarabran Fertilizers, a business that included a transport and contract spraying operation.
NFW expanded again in January 2009 with a branch in Meandarra. This branch now operates in conjunction with the Miles branch sharing agronomy and administration services.
Queensland Farmers Warehouse (QFW) started operating in Toowoomba in 1997, soon opening branches in Warwick, Cecil Plains and Cottonvale (near Stanthorpe).
QFW and NFW merged in June 2009 to form one large company.
A joint venture between NFW and Namoi Ag in Carroll (Gunnedah) commenced in February 2010.
The Present
NFW bases its business on providing excellent customer service with very competitive pricing.
NFW prides itself with having excellent staff (now over 50 members) with a broad range of knowledge and experience in all facets of agribusiness.
NFW currently operates 7 Rural Merchandise Stores across Queensland and New South Wales alongside the Joint Venture with Namoi Ag in NSW.
NFW was initially established as an Independent Rural Retailer with a focus on Cotton and Broadacre cereal cropping supplies. This focus has broadened and includes Broadacre (agricultural chemicals, seeds and fertilizers); Produce; Animal Health Products; Fencing supplies and general farm merchandise. NFW now supplies over 4000 products.
NFW is a member of the Australian Independent Rural Retailers Association. (AIRR)

The Future

- Big N Nutrition especially on the Western Downs.
- Prolix liquid feed supplements on the Western and Outer Downs.
- Dryland Cotton on the Western Downs based around Meandarra and Tara areas.
- Crop Protection and Grain Storage solutions in Coonabarabran.
